Im looking for some blunt outside opinions on my own agency site, because I think I’ve lost all objectivity on it . I run a small SEO and web design shop in Bristol UK, and after staring at the same pages for months I genuinely cant tell what’s working , and what’s not anymore. The site belongs to my company SEO Bristol Company and it offers seo services for bristol businesses, alongside web design, and digital marketing. There are also location pages for different Bristol neighbourhoods, plus separate pages for industries like lawyers, dentists, and tradesmen. It ranks “fine” for a handful of local terms, but the progress feels slower than it should be, especially on the off page side. Not sure if the neighbourhood, by neighbourhood page structure is actually helping or if it just looks kinda thin to Google at this point. Backlinks are the weaker area too, mostly directories and a few scattered client links which feels a bit ironic for a company built around seo services bristol clients hire us for. Would be useful to hear where people would focus first if starting nearly from scratch , and whether digital PR is worth pursuing for a niche this plain. Not fishing for link offers, or pitches here, just straight feedback from people who do this for a living. I can share more data like search console numbers if anyone wants to dig in.
